No cost therapeutic counselling program for people with mild to moderate mental health concerns

What do we offer?

  • Flexible appointments

    Appointments last for 50 minutes to an hour. You will see the same clinician each time.

  • Highly trained clinicians

    Clinicians will assess your needs and then use proven techniques to help you manage your symptoms.

  • Safe & friendly environment

    Our centres are warm and inviting. Our friendly Clinicians will provide you safe, confidential and judgement-free treatment.

  • No cost

    Mental health services are free at Sonder

Accessing this service

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for Adult Wellbeing, you must:

  • Be aged 14 years or over;
  • Live in the council areas of Playford, Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully, Port Adelaide Enfield, Charles Sturt, Gawler or Barossa;
  • Have a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan and;
  • Have a mental health concern and would benefit from short-term focused psychological intervention.

Who are the staff?

The Adult Wellbeing staff are highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinicians, including Psychologists, Mental Health Accredited Social Workers and Mental Health Nurses.

Our staff will ensure you receive the most appropriate service to meet your needs.

How do I access the service?

To get started with Adult Wellbeing, you’ll need to visit your GP and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

To refer a patient to this service, please complete a Mental Health Treatment Plan and send to the Head to Health Phone Service through Secure Messaging via HealthLink (EDI: adphncru).

Due to program restrictions, Sonder clinicians are not able to provide medicolegal reports or assessments.
