Graduate Mental Health Clinician

Position to be based at our headspace Onkaparinga centre

We are seeking a Mental Health Graduate Clinician to join our multidisciplinary youth mental health team!

In this role, you’ll be supported to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver focused clinical therapy, counselling and psychological interventions for young people aged 12-25 with mental health disorders in a primary care setting.

This role will also require your participation in training and skill development activities, such as group and individual supervision, and self-guided and supported study in areas of practice, such as ethical, legal and professional matters.

The Mental Health Clinical Graduate will be working towards full accreditation/registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist or Social Worker.

Duty-Intake Worker

Position to be based at our headspace Marion centre

We are seeking a Duty-Intake Worker to join the headspace Marion team and complete triaging and duty work functions, including the administration of Psycho-Social Intake Assessments.

In this role, you will be required to develop client plans, as well as complete risk assessments and safety planning, and co-facilitate group programs for young people accessing services at headspace Marion. In addition, you’ll be supporting the team by organising warm referrals and assisting with duty work functions and wait list control interventions.

The right person for this role will have experience in conducting Psycho-Social Assessments for the purpose of triaging into mental health programs and will have worked with youth, families, agencies and communities.

Care Coordinator (Closing the Gap Integrated Team Care)

Position to be based at Sonder Edinburgh North

We are seeking a passionate Care Coordinator to join our Closing the Gap team!

Care Coordinators work closely with all involved in the care journey, supporting care planning and continuation of care across services.

When a client’s condition needs further medical attention, the Care Coordinator facilitates access to a range of care providers and medical aids to support the client to remain at home. The role requires communication and education around managing and preventing chronic disease and guidance on how to follow the recommendations in the client’s care plan.

The right person for this role can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with the ability to provide culturally appropriate support.

The candidate must hold a first-class honours degree or equivalent. The position will attract a tax-free income over three years.

Our Shared Care with GPs service provides support on the path of recovery by delivering evidenced-based clinical therapy as well as working collaboratively with consumers and their GP’s to monitor health needs. Learn more about Sonder’s Shared Care with GPs program here.

This exciting program offers recovery-focused clinicians the opportunity to foster personal recovery through a focus on strengths, values and goal striving; creating increased hopefulness, empowerment, quality of life and wellbeing. Sonder is able to offer a tailored appointment schedule of 4 sessions a day, offering the time and space to engage both clients and their support networks.

We are looking for accredited mental health professionals with knowledge, skills and specialist experience in delivering evidenced-based, focused psychological intervention to people diagnosed with a Tier 3 low prevalent, chronic or complex mental health disorder.
