Sonder opens new and improved centre in Port Adelaide
Sonder increases the accessibility of health and wellbeing support for individuals in the Western metropolitan region of Adelaide with the opening of its new and improved centre in Port Adelaide.
This strategic relocation from the organisation’s smaller premises in Port Adelaide on Dale St to the upgraded facility on Lipson Street is a direct response to Sonder’s sustained growth and the increasing demand for its services.
Sonder Chief Executive Officer, Sageran Naidoo expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating,

Sonder’s new centre at Lipson Street boasts a significantly larger space with upgraded facilities, creating a more welcoming and accessible environment for clients. The meticulously designed space is disability friendly and features 12 large consultation rooms and a spacious, light-filled reception area, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.
The enhanced centre offers an expansive range of services to support individuals of all ages. These include:
- Western Wellbeing Hub – Mental health services for adults, children, and their families, with specialised support for new or expecting parents.
- In-Home Withdrawal Service – Support for adults and young people seeking to withdraw from low to moderate alcohol and/or other drug dependence.
- NDIS Plus – Counselling & therapy, exercise physiology and dietitian services.
- Closing the Gap Integrated Team Care – Support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people to better manage chronic conditions.
All services at the centre are delivered by a team of highly skilled, multi-disciplinary health professionals, including clinicians, care coordinators, outreach workers, AOD workers, dietitians, and exercise physiologists.
The relocation to Lipson Street represents a significant milestone for Sonder, enhancing its capacity to meet the evolving needs of the South Australian community.
