Join the Push-Up Challenge with headspace this June

Our headspace centres – Adelaide, Edinburgh North, Marion and Onkaparinga invite you to participate in Australia’s largest mental health and fitness event, The Push-Up Challenge!

By challenging individuals to complete 3,249 push-ups over 24 days, the Push-Up Challenge aims to put a spotlight on the number of people who died by suicide in Australia in 2022.

From 5th to 28th June 2024, participants of all ages and abilities will engage in push-ups while learning about mental health. This free event allows you to register as an individual or as part of a team.

Why participate?

  • Improve your mental health education: Learn a new fact about mental health each day of the challenge.
  • Boost your fitness: Get motivated to engage in daily exercise to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Feel more connected: Work towards a common goal with friends, family, and colleagues, fostering a sense of unity and support.
  • Flexible participation: If 3,249 push-ups are too challenging, set your own goal, or opt for alternatives like sit-ups, squats, chin-ups, star-jumps, or other tailored exercises.

Fundraising for headspace

By participating, you’ll help raise funds for our headspace centres, which are dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young Australians. The funds raised will enhance our group programs, centre resources, and youth-led initiatives, ensuring we can continue to provide vital services.
