headspace centres partner with My Mirror

In an exciting new collaboration, Sonder-operated headspace centres — Edinburgh North, Marion, and Onkaparinga have partnered with My Mirror, an online psychology service to improve access to mental health support for young people in South Australia. The partnership is designed to provide affordable, timely, and tailored care for young people aged 12-25 with a mental health treatment plan.

With increasing demand for mental health services, this initiative helps break down barriers such as increased wait times and limited local availability by providing faster access to support.

Working alongside the headspace centres, young people will be matched with the most appropriate online psychologist at My Mirror based on their needs—ensuring they receive the right care, at the right time.

What this means for young people:

  • Matched with the right psychologist – Young people are connected with a qualified professional best suited to their specific needs.
  • Faster access to support – Bulk-billed psychological therapy is available within 24 – 72 hours.
  • Convenient online therapy – Support accessible from anywhere, removing barriers like transport and distance.

A shared commitment to youth mental health

“We’re excited to collaborate with headspace Edinburgh North, headspace Marion, and headspace Onkaparinga to make mental health services more accessible to young people in Adelaide. By working together, we can ensure that young people get the help they need, when they need it most,” said Josh Liwszyc, CEO of My Mirror.

“This partnership is a win for the young people of South Australia. By combining our resources and expertise, we can ensure that young people have the support they need to manage their mental health and thrive in their communities,” said Steven Wright, Child, Family & Youth Services Executive Manager at Sonder.
