CTG Day 2020 Event Update: Postponed

CTG Day 2020 has been postponed

At the direction of the Communicable Disease Control Branch of SA Health, we must unfortunately confirm the rescheduling of this year’s Closing the Gap Day event due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) concerns.

While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety of our staff, partners and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.

Although the CTG Day 2020 has been postponed, details will be announced regarding the event’s rescheduling later in the year.

Protecting yourself and others

For information on what you can do to reduce the risk of getting sick or passing infections, see SA Health’s Stop the Spread.

To find out what you need to do if you have been travelling, been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19, or have been advised to self-isolate, see SA Health’s Home Isolation Advice.

Coping and mental health support

It’s normal to feel stress and worry when there is a health event that is affecting people’s wellbeing in the community. For information on coping and mental health support see SA Health’s Mental Health and COVID-19 Fact Sheet.

Fact sheets and translated information

What to do if you’re feeling unwell

If you have travelled anywhere overseas in the past 14 days and have COVID-19 symptoms, contact your GP (advise your GP of your travel history) and isolate yourself.

If you have NOT travelled overseas recently, but are feeling unwell, book an appointment with your usual health care provider. Avoid contact with others if you are unwell.
