Step into spring with the Healthy Habits Walking Group in Gawler!
Looking for a simple, enjoyable way to improve your health, connect with others, and make the most of Gawler’s beautiful outdoors?
Join Sonder’s Healthy Habits Walking Group in Gawler, starting Monday 20 October 2025, and running weekly until 15 December, before taking a short break for the festive season.
A scenic and supportive way to get moving
Each week, we’ll meet at 3 pm in the Dead Man’s Pass car park in Gawler, finishing by 4 pm. Our group walks follow a scenic, well-maintained path surrounded by trees and rivers, a favourite spot for locals of all ages and fitness levels. The trail is mostly flat with a few gentle slopes, making it accessible and beginner-friendly. Ramps are available for easy access to the track. Walks are paced to suit all participants, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and included.
Each session is guided by a qualified Exercise Scientist/Nutritionist and an Exercise Physiologist from Sonder’s Healthy Habits team. Together, they’ll provide expert guidance, motivation, and practical tips to help you make the most of each session – whether your goal is to improve your fitness, manage a chronic condition, or simply enjoy being active in good company!
What to expect
Walks last around 45 minutes, followed by time for a friendly chat or debrief. The focus is on connection, consistency, and confidence – not competition. Whether you’re new to physical activity or looking to maintain healthy habits, this group offers a supportive space to do it.
