With services designed to support people at every stage of life, Solasta offers psychological therapy, counselling, and comprehensive assessments delivered by a team of experienced professionals.
As a social enterprise by Sonder, Solasta reinvests revenue into community-focused programs that support some of South Australia’s most underserved communities — helping expand access to vital services across the state.
A growing service with impact
Solasta opened its first clinic in Klemzig in 2021, with a small, dedicated team of psychologists and allied health professionals supporting individuals and families in Adelaide’s north-east. As demand for high-quality care continued to grow, a second site was established in Christies Beach in 2023, expanding access to our services across the southern suburbs.
Today, Solasta is home to a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team of 31 clinicians, including psychologists, speech pathologists, a psychiatrist, a paediatrician and a counsellor. This growth is a testament not only to the community’s need for accessible, timely support — but also to Solasta’s reputation for delivering care that is compassionate, professional, and tailored to each individual.
Our services
Solasta offers a wide range of services to support mental health and wellbeing of individuals across the lifespan, including:
- Psychological therapy for children, young people, and adults.
- Counselling for individuals navigating life challenges, relationships, or emotional stress.
- Psychiatric consultations for complex or multi-faceted presentations.
- Assessments for autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, giftedness, and speech and language.
Our experienced psychologists currently have immediate availability to provide psychological therapy for adults. With short wait times and a warm, evidence-based approach, Solasta offers adults a safe space to work through life’s challenges.
Proven expertise in autism assessments
Solasta is a trusted provider of comprehensive autism assessments for children, young people, and adults. Our clinicians use best-practice, neuro1affirming approaches to ensure assessments are respectful, clear, and empowering — helping clients and families understand themselves and access the right supports.
Solasta is also proud to be funded by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, through the Office for Autism, to deliver autism assessments for individuals referred by government departments, including the Department for Education. These assessments help facilitate timely access to services and supports in educational and community settings.
A strong focus on children, young people and families
Solasta has earned a strong reputation for supporting children, young people, and families through life’s emotional, developmental, and behavioural challenges.
Many of our clinicians have extensive experience and training in working with children and young people, including those navigating anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns, or neurodivergent identities such as autism or ADHD.
We recognise that every child and family is unique. With a warm, inclusive, and developmentally informed approach, our team works in partnership with families to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and support long-term wellbeing.
Expanding our impact
In line with our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our community, Solasta has recently launched an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offering businesses access to high-quality, confidential support for their staff. Our EAP provides employees with short-term, solution-focused counselling to help them manage work-related stress, personal challenges, or mental health concerns.
In the coming months, we’re also launching Home Detox — a private, confidential, nurse-led alcohol and other drugs detox service delivered in the comfort of a client’s home. This three-stage program offers a safe, structured, and compassionate pathway to recovery, with support provided every step of the way by Solasta’s experienced nurses.
